Drifters

A friend had sent me a photo of a bear lying on a log in a forest like the one you see here. That same day I was driving along the Russian River in Northern California, where folks like to drift down the river on rafts or rubber tubes. So I put those images together and decided to paint the scene as Monet might have done. I hope all those elements have come together to present a scene of wonder and relaxation. - Robert Bissell

This piece comes in three sizes (height listed first): 15" by 20", 30" by 40" and 36" by 48". All are giclee prints on canvas and can come rolled in a tube, stretched and ready to hang unframed, or framed. The smaller print only comes as a giclee print, while the larger pieces can be purchased as an enhanced giclee. These pieces have been hand painted on top of the giclee so you see brushstrokes on the canvas. These are all limited edition prints.
