Flor del Maracuya

"Flor del Maracuya" by Ana Maria Botero measures 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide by 5 inches deep. A departure from her flowers series, "Flor del Maracuya" sees Botero experimenting with different designs, this one an homage to her Columbian upbringing. Passiflora edulis, commonly known as passion fruit, is a vine species of passion flower native to South America. Ana Maria Botero’s glass sculptures feature multiple panes of painted glass with a wood base, achieving an incredible three-dimensional effect.
