Landing Gear

This original painting measures 20" tall by 24" wide.

"I was invited to participate in an art event that supported the historic Hardeman Barns in Jackson Hole, where the Teton Raptor Center is located.  As I rarely paint buildings, even though the barn is beautiful, I chose to paint two hawks that I witnessed landing on the peak of the barn.  I love that you see the barn, but you don't.  And even better, I recorded in paint for posterity the old-fashioned lightning rod, which no longer exists on that peak."
