Quilt

"Quilt" was created in the Vitreous Enamel medium in 1995. It is one of the only remaining pieces for sale by the master enamellist Craig Ruwe. The work consists of 137 pieces of copper with glass fired to each copper strip or square. The art is signed and dated in verso.

Raitman Art Galleries acquired the piece from a private collection. The owners of the piece were friends with Craig Ruwe and acquired the work directly from him.

This piece measures 31 inches tall by 31 inches wide and is framed behind glass in a thin charcoal-colored metal frame.
