"Wild River" was created by Colorado Artist James G. Moore. The sculpture is sold out and this piece came to us via the secondary market. Given the recognition James Moore has received over the course of his career and the fact that this was his most successful sculpture, this piece is quite the find!
Of the sculpture, James says, "Bears and salmon are so iconic of the west that it is almost a requirement for wildlife sculptors to make a work about them. With this bell I made the bears more stylized. I love the way the negative spaces work with the symmetry of the two bears." This magnificent sculpture doubles as a sculpture and a bell. It is made out of bronze and measures 48" x 36" x 18".
