Scy Caroselli

Scy Carolselli has been surrounded by fine art throughout her entire life. She grew up beside the easel and sculpting stand of her mother, world-renowned sculptor Marianne Caroselli.

With constant encouragement  from her mother to embrace her talent and  become the artist she is, Scy approached sculpting with zeal. Scy was destined for a  notable career in the art world.

Scy started sculpting in 2001. She has fallen in love with the excitement of creating art that truly inspires and moves people. Her subjects move from playful and whimsical animal sculptures to thought-provoking and strong figurative sculptures. The inspirational art she creates is truly her passion. Much of her work signifies reaching for new heights, never giving up and finding the strength to succeed in life.

Scy credits her mother with lots of support in her artistic career, not only pushing her to sculpt but traveling with her to Italy each year to study among the masters. Caroselli said when she completed her first piece, her mom looked at it, started crying and lightly smacked her on the back of the head. Scy says, “She said 'You should have listened to me and should have been doing this for years.”

Over the course of her sculpting career, Scy has been involved with many charities such as The Cancer League of Colorado, Children with Diabetes and the Boys and Girls Club. The strength and perseverance she found in the people involved in these charities have encouraged her to not only create art but to live every day to the fullest. She hopes her art will bring a smile to your face and inspiration to your life.

Sculpting is certainly in Scy’s blood and has proven to be a natural fit, as well as a smart and successful career choice. She has studied in Italy and at workshops throughout the United States, along with her childhood spent learning from her mother. Scy currently lives and sculpts in Denver, Colorado.
