Casting Shadows

This piece measures 36" tall by 48" wide. It was created with a combination of  acrylic, rice paper, bristol board, tempered glass, and hand-carved wood on canvas. The piece has lights behind the canvas, which can illuminate the painting. The birds were carved by hand out of wood.
