Four David Gonzales Paintings in Edwards, Colorado
“Shortly before the pandemic hit, I completed my annual 'trek' to Vail - something I have been doing since I was a teenager. But given the state of the world, and not knowing when I will be able to return, I decided I wanted to memorialize that trip in a special and unique way. I decided that I would invest in a piece of artwork from a local artist as a way of doing that. I had been to Raitman Galleries in the past so that was the first place I went (digitally). I was struck by the Artwork of David V Gonzales - the action, the colors, all spoke to me. But as a former racer, and a woman, I didn't see any works that depicted how I thought and felt about skiing in my beloved Colorado. So I took a chance and reached out to David and Raitman Galleries to inquire about a commission. I was surprised and delighted at how quickly they responded and how incredibly easy they were to work with. David sent multiple examples, I shared pictures and we talked at great length about my love of skiing. In only 2 short months, I had the final digital image to view and it was absolutely perfect. He captured everything I shared beautifully. Raitman quickly followed up and we closed up the final purchase and they were so efficient and professional. I can't say enough about how wonderful this experience was and how excited I am to have this original piece hanging in my home. I will always be grateful to David and Raitman for making this dream come true - particularly in this very difficult time. They have a customer for life!

Houston Llew Spiritiles
My husband and I were in Breckenridge for the first time a few years ago We just left the rehearsal dinner of a friend and were window-shopping your gallery. Ross was kind enough to invite us in, even after the store was closed. We fell in love with these Spiritiles and your gallery. Thank you for the beautiful art and your kindness!

2Wild Rozenvain and DD LaRue Artwork in Edwards, CO
I’ve been meaning to send you an email to let you know what I truly wonderful surprise I had on my birthday and to thank you so much for your part in it!! You and David had me going as I had definitely hinted about the painting but had no idea he was already in contact with you and if my hints were paying off. I was sure hoping so but really didn’t know and sure appreciate all you did to help. I just can’t tell you how much the painting means to me and I will treasure it always. Every day I look at it, still can’t get over the incredible blues and beauty of it. So thank you again for being a part of making my Birthday so special! It just made my day and your efforts to help David out just really touched me!! We hope to make it back to Vail someday and if so, we’ll be sure to drop back in again to say hello and to see all your new pieces.
Festivus Looking at His Own Sculptural Rendition
“I love my sculpture DD did for me. It proudly hangs on a large wall in my house in Edwards. I’m emailing a picture of my sculpture and my little dog, Festivus, gazing up at it. When I first saw DD’s work I was with Festivus. He noticed her sculpture right away when we walked in the front door of Raitman’s. He immediately stood on his hind legs to get a better view. He kept looking at it and then looking at me! Her work was definitely on my mind for months after our first visit. I spoke of it to my husband and we went back to see it. He loved it, too. We corresponded with Dena for months before I made up my mind. I sent in pictures and the sculpture was started. I was delighted when it was delivered. It’s such a happy, carefree piece of art. DD captured Festivus’ character perfectly. He’s a quirky, dancing dog with a love of life. It makes everyone smile when they come into my home."
