"You don't have to live in the mountains to appreciate the excitement of any sign of spring, it just comes to us a bit later. The ice disappears from the mountain lakes and delicate bright green leaves unfurl, but distant mountains are still decorated with a coating of snow. The combination of green and snow is perhaps my favorite view of a mountain landscape."
