Sweetness and Light

This piece was created with acrylic paints, rice paper, inktense pencil, watercolor paper, hand-embossed metal, and hand-blown glass on canvas. The painting is back-lit with LEDs. The aspen leaves are carved out of the painting and the hand-blown glass is embedded directly through the canvas and sealed in place. The light from the LEDs shines through the piece.

This painting measures 48" tall by 36" wide. It is hanging in our Vail art gallery.
