One Love

"One Love" by Fekadu Mekasha measures 53" inches tall by 39" wide in the frame. This piece is a new process for Mekasha. It invites us to literally explore the other side of his work, as he has taken the remaining wire from his pieces to give us mirror images of the work. The piece is coated in resin to give additional dimension. Up close, viewers can lose themselves in the many layers of the work. From a distance, this piece has such perfect light and shadow that it looks like a photograph.
