One with the Light

The backing on this piece measures 30" tall by 40" wide. Rather than sculpting the pieces upon completing the paintings, Cynthia has elected to "float" them on a birch wood frame.  The piece is on a flat sheet of birch wood and is mounted floating off the backing about three-quarters of an inch. The piece was created with acrylic stains and gold leaf. It is part of Duff's "One With the Light" series.
